Jamtoli Information Line went live on August 16 with a first feature programme "The Elephant", followed a few days later by a program about the Eid Celebration. Fondation Hirondelle's new audio program by and for Rohingya refugees in the Jamtoli camp, in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, is produced in partnership with Christian Aid, and with the support of Swiss Solidarity.

The program is narrowcasted via a system of loudspeakers placed in listening posts across Jamtoli Camp, one of the Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh. This ranges from women only community kitchens, to tea shops and health clinics. The Eid celebration program was narrowcasted in over 30 listening spots. The response from refugees has so far been very positive. One woman cried when she heard the emotional Rohingya music. One man recorded it on his mobile phone so he could share with others. Most people wanted more information. The Jamtoli Information Line will continue to be produced and narrowcasted on issues of importance for refugees in the camp, by the local team trained and coached by Fondation Hirondelle.
