The editor-in-chief of Studio Tamani, the Fondation Hirondelle's media in Mali, was a guest on "Le Temps Afrique" in mid-January. ECOWAS and UEMOA had decreed sanctions on 9 January because of a transition timetable deemed too long by the West African community. Mouhamadou Touré spoke about the situation and the resentment of Malians affected by these economic sanctions.
